Spring 2017 Overview
THEA 01- Acting 1. This course prepares a student to apply basic acting theory to performance and provides an introduction to interpretation, memorization, stage movement and vocal projection.
THEA 02- Acting 2. Continued study of theories and techniques used in performance. The emphasis will be placed on deepening the understanding of the acting process through character study, monologues and scenework.
THEA 024- Rehearsal and Performance in Production. Students will participate in the current theatre producion. Instruction will be focused on the unique elements and demands of a live collaborative performance of either a drama, musical, classical or comedy play.
THEA 04- Introduction to Theatre. This course introduces students to elements of production including acting, directing, playwriting and design.
THEA 50-Acting for the Camera.
