SCC Offering More Classes at Its Three Locations in Spring 2013

FAIRFIELD, CA, OCTOBER 8, 2012: Solano Community College (SCC) is working diligently to satisfy our students’ needs for more class offerings. SCC will add more classes to its Spring 2013 schedule at the Vacaville, Vallejo, and Fairfield locations. The two centers, Vacaville and Vallejo, will offer more classes than ever before to accommodate the students who live in these areas, reducing the necessity to commute. The Spring 2013 Course Information will be available online at the end of October, in order to afford current and future students the opportunity to plan next semester’s schedule. In addition to the additional Spring 2013 course offerings, SCC is pleased to announce the reinstatement of Summer Session in 2013!

“It is imperative that the College offer the classes that students need to be successful to earn their degrees, transfer to 4 year colleges and universities, and fulfill their basic skill goals,” commented Dr. Jowel Laguerre, SCC Superintendent/President. “The faculty and staff have worked very hard to analyze the areas that need more course offerings and to incorporate those courses into the Spring 2013 schedule to make it as robust and fulfilling for students as possible! Our goal is to serve our communities responsibly.”

A Spring 2013 Course Information will be available at www.solano.edu at the end of this month. If you are interested in receiving a hard copy of the Spring 2013 Course Information (available late October/early November), please email admissions@solano.edu or call 707.864.7171 to request a copy.
