SCC Softball Clinches BVC Title, Crouse-Feehan Selected BVC Coach of the Year

Fairfield, CA: Solano Community College (SCC) Softball clinches BVC title and will play Sierra College in first round of CCCAA Play offs. Head Coach Crouse-Feehan has been selected as BVC Coach of the Year

The Solano Falcons Softball Team has clinched their 11th consecutive Bay Valley Conference Championship. The team finished the season 23-1 in the BVC. The Falcons overall record is 31-9 and they are currently ranked #12 in Northern California.

The Falcons with the #12 seed will play at #5 Sierra College in Rocklin this weekend in the CCCAA Softball Northern Regional Round 1 on Saturday at 2pm. Game 2 will be played on Sunday at noon. If needed a game 3 will follow at 2pm.

First Year Interim Head Coach Penelope Crouse-Feehan was selected as the BVC Coach of the Year. Monica Chapa was selected Most Outstanding Pitcher and selected to the All -State Team. Ashley Dufresne and Katelyn Lehman were selected to the All Nor Cal Team.

All Conference First Team Selections included Ashley Dufresne, Victoria Faleafine, Kylie Larsen, Katelyn Lehman and Ashley Whaley. Cassidy Pallo was selected to the All-Conference Second Team.
